WORKSHOP PENGGUNAAN DIAGRAM PRISMA PADA PENELITIAN

Abstract

Qualitative research methods are one of the approaches used to solve research problems. Limited knowledge and previous research using qualitative analysis tools often results in a lack of research using qualitative methods in the fields of economics and finance. The community service team at Muhammadiyah Jambi University conducted a workshop for lecturers and students in the Management and Development Economics study program regarding the use of prism diagrams in conducting qualitative research in the fields of economics and finance. The workshop took place on July 06, 2026, at the Campus I building of Universitas Muhammadiyah Jambi, with 30 participants comprising 10 lecturers and 20 final-year students. The material was delivered using the lecture method by a team consisting of 5 lecturers from the Management and Development Economics study program. The final result of the workshop was an increase in participants' knowledge and participants also had the results of a research framework with a qualitative approach in the form of a prism diagram based on research themes that had been prepared in advance by the workshop participants.
