Sejauh Mana Faktor Ekonomi Mempengaruhi Pendapatan Pedagang UMKM Pecel Lele di Kecamatan Kota Baru Kota Jambi?

Abstract
This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the income of pecel lele micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) traders in Kota Baru District, Jambi City. The factors examined in this research include operational capital (LogX1), working hours (X2), and length of business operation (X3). This research employs a descriptive quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis. The population consists of all pecel lele traders in Kota Baru District, totaling 35 respondents, all of whom were included as the research sample through a census (saturated sampling) technique. The results indicate that simultaneously, the variables LogX1, X2, and X3 have a significant effect on traders’ income (LogY), as shown by the F-statistic of 4.985 with a significance level of 0.006 < 0.05. Partially, the variables LogX1 and X3 have a positive and significant effect on income, while X2 shows no significant influence. The Adjusted R Square value of 0.260 suggests that 26% of the variation in income can be explained by the three independent variables, whereas the remaining 74% is influenced by other factors outside the model. Based on the findings, traders are advised to manage their operational capital efficiently and enhance their business experience and continuity to maximize income. Future researchers are encouraged to include additional variables such as business location, marketing strategy, and customer volume to provide a more comprehensive understanding of the factors affecting MSME income.
