All parties involved in the publication process, including authors, editors, reviewers, and publishers, are required to adhere to these principles to ensure professionalism, transparency, and accountability in academic publishing.

Duties of Authors

Authors are fully responsible for the originality, accuracy, and integrity of the manuscripts submitted for publication. Their contributions must add significant value to the fields of economics, business, and insight.

• Originality of Work: Manuscripts must be the authors' original work, unpublished elsewhere, and not under consideration by another journal.
• Plagiarism and Similarity: The manuscript must have a maximum similarity index of 35%, verified using tools such as Turnitin or iThenticate. Manuscripts exceeding this threshold will be returned for revision or rejected.
• Reference Management: Authors must use reference management software such as Mendeley or Zotero to organize in-text citations and references. The required referencing format is IEEE Style, where citations are numbered sequentially in the text (e.g., [1], [2]).
• Data Accuracy and Transparency: Research data presented must be accurate, clear, and transparent, enabling verification by other researchers. The methodology must be described in sufficient detail to allow replication.
• Research Ethics: For studies involving humans, animals, or sensitive data, authors must include ethical clearance documentation from relevant institutions.
• Conflict of Interest: Authors are required to disclose any conflicts of interest that might influence the interpretation of research findings.
• Corrections and Retractions: If significant errors are discovered after publication, authors must immediately contact the editorial team to issue a correction or retraction.

Duties of Editors

Editors are responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of every published manuscript.

• Conduct manuscript selection based on scientific merit, originality, and relevance to the journal’s scope.
• Maintain confidentiality of author and reviewer identities through the double-blind review process.
• Make decisions fairly and free from conflicts of interest, independent of the author’s institutional affiliations or personal relationships.
• Provide clear guidelines for manuscript submission, review, and publication.
• Address ethical misconduct such as plagiarism, data fabrication, or manipulation transparently and consistently.

Duties of Reviewers

Reviewers play a vital role in maintaining the quality and objectivity of the peer-review process.

• Provide objective, constructive, and professional feedback to improve the quality of submitted manuscripts.
• Keep all manuscript information confidential and not use it for personal advantage.
• Identify potential plagiarism, duplicate publication, or ethical violations and report them to the editors.
• Decline to review any manuscript where a conflict of interest exists with the author or research topic.

Duties of Publisher

As the publisher, PT. RND Digital Inovatif is responsible for upholding the journal's reputation and integrity.

• Ensure that the entire publication process is conducted professionally and transparently in line with international ethical standards.
• Provide a reliable Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform to manage the submission, review, and publication workflow.
• Guarantee open access availability, allowing broader dissemination of research to scholars, practitioners, and the public.
• Support editors in handling ethical cases, including article retraction when necessary.
• Comply with indexing regulations from national and international databases, including Garuda, SINTA, and DOAJ.

Plagiarism and Similarity Policy

To maintain publication quality, JEBI enforces a strict plagiarism and similarity policy:

• Submitted manuscripts must have a maximum similarity index of 35%, verified using Turnitin or iThenticate.
• Manuscripts exceeding this limit will be returned for revision or outright rejection.
